Again, don’t let adult movies or any product advertising fool you, hours of sex duration is only a fantasy. It’s the same like average penis size that I posted before, the normal sex duration is not as high as you might expected. According survey by U.S. and Canada sex therapists, satisfactory sexual intercourse for couples lasts from 3 to 13 minutes.

The survey rated a range of time amounts for sexual intercourse, from penetration of the vagina by the penis until ejaculation, that they considered adequate, desirable, too short and too long.

The average therapists’ responses defined the ranges of intercourse activity times:

• below 3 minutes as “too short”
• 3-7 minutes as “adequate”
• 7-13 minutes as “desirable”
• 10-30 minutes as “too long”

Remember that it was only counting the intercourse time, exclude the foreplay. It also depends on your age, health, mood, and how your feeling towards your mate.

What’s really important here, there is no “standard” on how long intercourse should last. It’s enough when it’s enough. If both of you get satisfied no matter how quick or how long the time is, then you’re on the right track.
